It's not that bad, but it clearly doesn't sound good and if it gets worse over time, then I'll start having issues to start. According to what I read, the culprit is the cable harness connecting the battery to the alternator and starter motor. Webb29 juni 2008 · Slow cranking when hot means the problem is elsewhere. Easy/cheap: Check your valve adjustment. Maybe bad valve timing (from loose valves) is makign it hard to get a good mixture in there. Moderate: Check cables (maybe you've got them all already).
