http://patches-scrolls.com/gothic.php WebDec 22, 2024 · I've fixed this by downloading the Player Kit - v1.08k from World of Gothic. Just download it and run the installer. When prompted, enter the path where you installed Gothic 1. Hope it helps. All this did for me was replace the 1.08 patch window pop up with a 1.08k_mod popup and the same thing happens.

WebDec 12, 2024 · To run in Steam need to remove it overlay dll. Or run the game from the catalog Windows Explorer directly. I owned Gothic 1 on steam but was continuously getting an access violation everytime I ran it. I tried running it in compatibility mode and even tried the 'administrator' idea. Nothing has worked.
